Take Back the Night

Take Back the Night, an internationally observed event that addresses violence against women, is organized periodically by concerned members of the Iowa City and University of Iowa communities.

The purpose is to educate the community about the problems and solutions to sexual violence, empower those attending the event, provide a safe place for victims/survivors to speak out, and send a message that this violence must end.
