Educational Services

RVAP works to create a community free from sexual violence by providing educational programming to youth (grades 7-12), service providers, college populations, and community members in Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, and Washington counties.
Schedule a speaker from RVAP by calling Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, 335.6001 or e-mailing prevention-education-rvap@uiowa.edu.
Educational programming is offered on the following topics: rape myths and facts, victim impact, date rape drugs, risk reduction techniques, healthy relationships, stalking, sexual harassment, power and control, domestic violence, gender stereotypes, consent, dating, building trust, boundaries, and self-esteem.
